Six month sweetie

Today marks six months of Alex in our lives. He is truly a sweet boy. He just wants to be held or snuggle with you at all times...if you try to put him down to play or give yourself a moment, he absolutely freaks out and cries the worst baby cry ever. But the moment you pick him back up he is all smiles and dimples. Speaking of the dimples, they are adorable. His eyes are still blue, although not a real light blue, and may still change to a more greenish/brown like mine with time.
He is eating good--still chugging the breastmilk and now eating solid baby food two-three times per day. His favorites are sweet potatoes and apples and he dislikes pretty much anything green (unless you swirl it together with something else). He must be hitting a growth spurt because lately everytime we feed him his mouth is open like a little bird and he whines inbetween bites if you don't shovel it in fast enough. In other areas, he coos and babbles a lot, but no actual words yet (sometimes I hear "baba" in there when he wants a bottle.) He is not making much progress on rolling or motor development, but I really blame that on the helmet. Which is okay...I am not ready for him to be mobile yet! He sleeps through the night sporadically. We have to re-Ferberize every few nights to remind him that mommy and daddy need sleep too! He is wearing six-nine month clothes--mainly because he is SO long his legs need that much room, but his torso isn't as big, so clothes are baggy on him there.

I LOVE that last shot - so sweet!!!! It cracks me up that we have the opposite clothes size problem with little man. We need width but everything is too long - hee hee!
