Lucas recently arrived home with a split lip from school. When I asked him what happened he replied "Miss Pat did it" accusing his teacher. Now I can believe a lot of things happen at daycare that I might not like...that is just the nature of day care. But I seriously doubt Miss Pat socked my son in the face. I couldn't help but chuckle, but I am beginning to realize that it might be time to discuss the difference between fib and fact.
Tonight I was getting ready to give Lucas a shower and he announced that he needed to potty first. I assumed he was going to climb on the toilet so I had my back to him when I heard a very LOUD stream--coming from the shower. I jumped to grab him and told him we do NOT pee in the shower. To which he replied "Daddy says we can."
Hmmm...fib, or fact? Only Josh knows. But I can kind of see a silly MAN teaching his son that this was okay. So note to self, kill husband soon (after making him scrub the shower.).
