Not to go all Shakespearean or anything, but sometimes my life feels like its a drama. Today I got the call from daycare that Alex was sick. He's got the stomach ick that has been floating around town for a few weeks, the same bug that I probably had a couple weeks ago. Despite the fact that I am religiously cleaning my hands with antibac and scrubbing all the surfaces with 409, my Monk routine probably won't keep the rest of the fam from getting ill. Crossing my fingers...but not holding my breath. So for now--we are on lockdown until further notice.
Alex seems to be taking it in stride. Smiling through the vomit so to speak. Gotta love a kid who gives you dimples even when his diaper is full o'sh------

Perhaps you SHOULD be holding your breath since it is probably an airborne virus!!! I know, I know...that isn't possible....just teasing!
