Christmas Craft Fun

Luc and I made a gingerbread "train" for a Christmas craft. I say train loosely because it only vaguely resembled the representation on the package. Lucas was more interested in eating the train parts and frosting, so it ended up mostly being me growling about the directions not making sense and Lucas snarfing down candy. I have no idea how people make elaborate gingerbread houses from scratch...
Doesn't he look like a little devil here?
All the pretty pieces before we mutilated them...
Ahh, well, the point was to do something crafty together and have a special mother/son moment. Check!

We did that one last year. I really enjoyed it, but ya, the house is much easier with less pieces.

Plus, why don't they add gumdrops to the train?

I love the pic of you and Luc at the end - so sweet! And his "little devil" grin was the best!

We did the tree hands/feet this year and little man's first ornament but that was all I could manage. Disco was really excited about a gingerbread house so I guess we may need to make time for one next year. Oh the fun (a little sarcasm intended - not sure I am up for the candy wars!)!
