So then we trooped outside into the cold to smack the Thomas pinata around some. I feared the kids wouldn't get into this since most of them are still in the Terrible T's, but I was pleasantly surprised. All of the children seemed to enjoy venting some angst against the defenseless little train. Some were better than others. Lucas got to go first, being the b-day boy, and he enjoyed bossing the others around when it was their turn. He has a bit of a "girly swing" and Josh had to remind him to use both hands for maximum force.
Love the shots below. Nate looks like he is ready for some candy! The Grumbles boys were total pros--I can see them playing in the big leagues. Think they might have practiced this a few times with their old man! Oh--and this was a great way to utilize the last of the Halloween candy...sneaky of me to send it home with the other kids.

it was a great party, and nate was wiped out...he fell asleep as soon as he got home!
