Josh was on call today so we bundled up (the weather is VERY yucky...they are predicting snow flurries tonight) and headed to the hospital to have lunch with him. While we were eating, two police men ("please" men according to Lucas) walked by and the following was said:
Lucas: Mommy, who is dat?
Me: Those are police men.
Lucas: The please men not going to get me mommy?
Me: Oh, no. They only get bad people. You haven't been bad have you?
Lucas: (thinks for a moment) Not VERY bad mommy.
Josh and I just laughed. Well, at least he was being honest!
