Gotta love a blog post with a title stolen from a Beastie Boys album! So somewhere along the way I decided to make a special pail for Lucas each year for his school trick or treat. Last year I stamped his name on a pail I purchased at the land of Wal. This year I decided to be a little more creative--plus I got the idea for this pail at a ritzy (pricey!) kids shop here in town. Mine isn't as cute as theirs (but it also didn't cost me much!) and I thought it turned out pretty cute just the same. Lucas got several compliments on it while trick or treating at school and now I have a neat memento of the year (I put the date on the bottom of the pail) to decorate my home with and will continue the tradition each year. I guess if I make pails for Alex, too, I will have LOTS of pails to fill with candy/food/plants each year. Good thing I love Halloween!
