This picture is a bit fuzzy, but we attended our church carnival this past Sunday and I loved the make-up Marcia wore. She was a cat and it turned out so cute. Since Lucas was a lion I figured we needed pics of them together in all their tawny glory. Lucas was actually in a bad mood when we first arrived at the church (as witnessed in the photo below). He had skipped his nap on Sunday and was cranky britches until he fell asleep in the car on the ride to the church. He did NOT appreciate being woken up (even with the promises of candy...)
Alex slept through most of the carnival--but he looked pretty cute in his "sweet pea" costume and got lots of
oohhss and
ahhs.
I love this lion costume--we recycled it from last year since it still fit--Nana found it at a resale shop/garage sale (i forget which) for a steal. Nana also bought Alex's cute get up for him (but it wasn't such a
bargan).
