I had to show off our
Halloween art--I had seen this cute idea for ghost footprints in some magazine (probably Family Fun) so Lucas and I had a blast painting our feet on Saturday and stamping them everywhere. Lucas and Josh couldn't stop giggling when I applied the paint to the bottoms of their feet--silly boys. Alex didn't really know what to think of it--he wiggled his toes, but wasn't happy about the cold paint. He did enjoy "standing" up to imprint his foot--he is standing very well now (with help of course) and FINALLY seems to have better head control (thank you daycare--they have been putting him in an
excersaucer). Anyway--I love our little ghost feet despite the fact that my foot is almost as large as Josh's! And Lucas really does have five toes--he just CROSSES his last two toes (all the time--how strange!) so it makes him look like a mutant. I made sure I did this on archival scrapbook paper, so this becomes a page for my scrapbook and a cherished record of our family feet (yes, again, the obsession with feet...maybe I should see someone about this?)

Next we used
Luc's hands to make a spooky spider who now lives on our
fridge. Lucas is very proud of him and begs constantly to stamp more stuff with his hands. And he now loves to glue things as well, since I let him glue the googly eyes on all the crafts. So I guess I better resign myself to having little strips of paper glued all over my walls.

What fun!!! You know I FINALLY took those yellow footprints/handprints of the family (done when you were little) out of the frames but of course I still have them. Imagine that! Fond memories....
