I have no idea what
Blogger's problem is lately but the site will not load my pictures in the order that I want...yesterday it was reverse order, today it is just totally random. Sorry--I wanted the bee pics of the boys first. Anyway--now begins my favorite time of the fall--the
halloween countdown! It seems like we have something
halloween oriented almost every day this week (so expect copious posting!) This weekend it was Boo at the Zoo, and for the occasion Alex and
Luc were dressed up as cute little bees. They look so cute together! (See the last pic for a brothers shot)
As usual the zoo was decked out in fun
halloween themed items--including the brightly lit pumpkins above and lots of lights. (I'm sure the zoo animals actually HATE this event--the lights, the kids screaming, etc.)
We saw several friends at the event, including pirates Hayden and Nate and fairy princess Eva. We also saw lots of great costumes...but the best was Darth Vader and the storm troopers who stood guard at the entrance. Lucas really WANTED to get his picture with them...but at the same time he was terrified. It took quite a while for him to warm up to them (and even then he kept his distance).
We also gorged on lots of yummy "fair" food--including nachos, a "bouquet" full of
corndogs, cheese sticks, and cotton candy. Lucas was a tuckered out bee by the time we got home.

Cute pictures and Lucas and buddies look sooooo big now!!! Alex looks serious about the whole event!!
that was a fun night, glad we could meet up and hang for a bit. do you mind sharing your group pics so i can pass them on to hayden's mom? thanks!!
