Four months old

Alex turned four months this past weekend--so of course I commemorated the event by taking lots of pictures. And he honored the occasion by sleeping through the night for the first time on the very evening of his fourth month! I put him down around eight and was amazed when he did not wake up--one brief cry out at one in the morning...but then--he slept straight on until SEVEN in the morning. At which time I think he woke up because Lucas got up and started making noise. Amazing. He repeated this feat last night, so I am crossing my fingers that the trend continues...
He is now wearing three to six month clothes, smiles often, talks a little (mostly in the morning when he wakes up smiley and happy), has better head control, still hates tummy time, but loves to stand and grip things. He loves his big brother, milk, being cuddled, and the bouncy seat. He dislikes the bumbo (but we keep trying), most pacifiers (only takes the LSU one...go figure!), and having wet diapers.

He is also starting to really notice his own hands and stares at them frequently and sucks on them occasionally (built in paci...the first night he slept in I could hear him sucking on his hands all night). He still has the Mohawk, blue eyes, and his hair is leaning towards the lighter color brown these days (with patches of blond and black).
