Had to take a picture of this--the first time Lucas spelled his own name (granted--he didn't write it, but hey, still counts!) They must have been working on names at school because Lucas has been identifying letters all over the place--on license plates, books, and food at the grocery store. Today I sat in the kitchen and called out the letters of his name and he selected each correctly and lined them up to spell his name. He's just so smart!Funny things he has said this week:
"Mommy, there is a BIG bitch in that yard." I did a momentary pause and realized he meant our neighbors have a large WITCH in their yard. He clearly just heard that word wrong!
"I'm cleaning the windoors mommy" He loves to wash the window of our shower. Cute how he combines the words window and door.
In response to us telling him he must wear pants to Uncle Scott's house (he wanted to go freebird) he said "Sorry, I'm not going then." Sassy boy.
For lunch he wanted a PBJ and C--"Peanut butter, Jelly, and Cheetos" sandwich.
He is also big into bargaining this week. "one more picture, then I get a snack" etc, etc. Usually involves getting some kind of "special treat".
