The Great Pumpkin Tale

The following story is absolutely true--no bull involved. So the pumpkin featured above is a beautiful WHITE pumpkin that I couldn't resist purchasing....LAST YEAR. I loved it so much that somehow it made its way into our pit of a garage--the one that Josh got around to cleaning out last week. And what did he find? My pretty marbled white pumpkin...still perfectly good. No rotting. Can you believe this? I wouldn't if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes, but the picture above is of a REAL pumpkin that I purchased over a year ago. It is now sitting on our front porch as a daily reminder that miracles do happen. Part of me is very tempted to cut into it and see if it is rotting or weird on the inside, but then again...I kind of want to see if it will last through this season (and possibly on to the next!)
