Its an annual tradition;
LSU vs Arkansas for Thanksgiving. Other families crave turkey induced comas and pumpkin pie. The Chances look forward to chants of "Geaux Tigers," gumbo, and tons of purple and gold. Despite our roots in Arkansas, we still pull for the Tigers. This year the game was in Death Valley, so Josh and the boys made the trek to Baton Rouge on Thanksgiving day. Sadly, I had to stay in Little Rock since I had to work Black Friday, so I missed all the fun. But now that I have the new camera, I felt fine letting Josh take the Rebel and play with it--so these shots are
courtesy of him. Apparently Alex thought tailgating was boring...he napped in daddy's arms part of the day.

Our tailgating gear and crew grows every year. Above--our giant blow up Mike posing with the
fam. Below--Jenn and
AJ face off in
LSU baggo, an annual sport.

The tailgating set up below. We now have three tents, and apparently had an on site TV provided by Scott, powered by Ken. Seriously, we need a storage unit to store all this stuff. Between Scott, Josh, and Dad we should own stock in
LSU collegiate gear.

And here is the REAL Mike, pacing in his cage. What a great shot, Josh! Mike is ready to roar at those hogs!

Overall it sounds like I missed a good time. I had to catch the game at home; it was a real nail biter. I think I probably woke half the
neighborhood with my cheer when
Tejada missed his field goal. 33-30
LSU victory in overtime. We'll take it!
