Some more pictures of our lazy afternoon today. I have the "back to work blues" since I go back full time in the morning. I'm sure it will all be fine, but I will miss staying home with Alex and getting to cuddle with him whenever I want. He has been so much more smiley and interactive the last few days (despite his vacant look in these photos--he wasn't in a good mood for this photo shoot). Lucas on the other hand was all smiles (mainly because Josh bribed him with the promise of candy--at which point Lucas specified he wanted "hot candy and cold candy". When I asked what this meant Josh said he wanted Hot Tamales and then regular candy. How sad that my two year old has names for SPECIFIC types of candy...goes to show he is eating TOO much!) He will probably hate the photo above later in life because it looks like he has buck teeth--but I think it is the sweetest smile.
I think I have an obsession with feet photos, too. Lucas' grubby little feet are just so precious to me.
I was trying so hard to get a good shot of the boys together and I didn't get what I wanted...but I think the photo of both of them pouting is too cute. Lucas loves to do a fake pout. He's pretty good at it!
Alex is getting so big, too. I don't know his exact weight, but I began packing up the newborn clothes this weekend since he is outgrowing most of them. He has moved into 3-6 month outfits and he has been having "chunky" days this weekend--he just looks fatter in the face.

awwww...you've really gotten some great shots recently. they are growing up so fast. let us know how daycare is going!
