Don't worry--they are gummy worms (sour ones). Josh got Lucas hooked on these this week. Lucas likes getting picked up from "school" (daycare) and stopping at what he calls the "yellow store" for a snack. This is actually the neighborhood Shell Gas Station. Josh stopped once for water one hot afternoon and now Lucas thinks this is the HOT spot to stop and get a treat every day. (Josh gives in to this kind of request--I will go on record as saying I will NOT be feeding my childs crack-like obsession for candy worms).
I told Lucas to get a bowl and he could put a "few" worms in it to snack on. I turned around and he had dumped the entire package into the bowl. I think he would have sat there and eaten every last one if I hadn't insisted on saving some for snack at a later date (if they last that long...the things really ARE addictive.)
All gone! Notice his face is all grubby and his nails are dirty--he is SUCH a boy!! He also leaves up the toilet seat, loves to run around naked, thinks its funny when he farts, and exclaimed to me this weekend he was going to "watch football all day". Please, no--anything but that!
