Baptism

We had Lucas and Alex baptized this past weekend and I thought I'd share some moments from the event. Both boys looked so cute in their outfits--but Lucas really made my heart swell when I saw how big he is getting these days. It is hard to believe he has been a part of our lives for almost three years now.

My favorite part of Alex's outfit was the booties and the bib--both gifts from Nana Schuldt. (I swear, I really do have some sort of kid foot fetish!) They really completed the outfit. Nana also got a small monogrammed hankie/towel for each boy to dry their head after the baptism--she said it would be for them to keep and use in their weddings as hankies. What a neat idea!
My favorite part of Luc's ensemble was the tie--I had to look everywhere for one that wasn't too long for him and I was fearful that he would rip it off about two seconds after I put it on him--but thankfully he liked it (he was more interested in pulling his shirt tails out every time I turned around).
