Favorite Fall Outings

It's officially Fall, so I thought I'd highlight some of my favorite fall outings. The pumpkin patch is at the top of my list. We have been several years running now and it never ceases to amaze me how much fun I have watching kiddos run around pumpkins. There is something special about picking out your very own. I am sad that this year we won't be able to visit the same patch we have made our annual run to in the past--they are not hosting a pumpkin patch this season. So we will have to find a new one (the area has several others, so it shouldn't be a problem). The pictures here are of our visit last year. Its amazing how much Lucas has grown in the last year!
I think he really believed he would be able to pick up this pumpkin. Sorry buddy, it weights twice as much as you do!
I think I will miss getting this shot the most--I have one for both years we have taken Lucas to the patch.
Other places of interest in the fall: Boo at the Zoo, the state fair, and the annual LSU/Arkansas game with tailgating

ugh... which one did you go to? The one out toward Ferndale? I love the pumpkin patch and can't wait to go again this year.

Yes--we have always gone to Hidden Valley out in Ferndale. I just can't believe they aren't doing it this year! A friend of mine says the Johnson (Johnston??) patch is good--out in Greenbrier. Which ones have you guys visited? Maybe we can try to go on the same day--Lucas loves playing with Peanut!
