At dinner tonight Lucas made a comment that made both Josh and I laugh out loud. We really shouldn't have. But read on to see why...
Lucas: (totally out of NOWHERE) screw you daddy. (big pause, then--) I don't say that to hurt your feelings. Okay? It's Okay.
I plead the fifth on where he might have picked up this gem. All I can say is that three year olds are indeed sponges...big old massive sponges.

OMG! I almost fell out of my chair laughing at this one :)
It must have been daddy that taught him this one. I have never heard his mommy EVER say this phrase!
