Ba Ba Report

I'll post a full eight month Alex update Friday (after his doctors appointment) but for now, here is a quickie: Alex will now hold his bottle. There are some conditions to this trick, though. One, he must be laying down because he still won't even try to hold a "ba ba" as we call it while he is sitting up (probably because he would have to tilt his head too far back and we have discovered that the helmet cuts into the back of his neck when he does that). Two, you have to actually put his hands in place, but once you do he will drink the entire bottle and can even lose it and get it back into place (which begs the question "Why can't he place his hands to begin with?" and my thought is "he is lazy and knows we will do it for him...") But for now, he is holding his ba ba and we will call that progress. Baby steps towards progress!
