How to make snow cream

Since mother nature provided us with so much snow today, we decided to make it our evening snack. First, we gathered snow from the yard in a large kitchen bowl. Josh actually scooped snow off of the hood of his truck (he made sure to get fresh globs that had not touched the car!) but I guess if you wanted to, you could leave a bowl out overnight and viola--bowl full o' snow! Next, I divided it up into bowls for the boys...
We took sweetened condensed milk and squirted it on the snow (very liberally...and those are Josh's horrible nail beds, not mine!)
Finally--we let the boys add toppings. Lucas picked gummies:
Alex enjoyed the sugar sprinkles:
I had to taste test this (of course) and both were very yummy. The kids really enjoyed it and I look forward to trying this again. Soon. ;)
