Lucas got his growin' on and he is now wearing 4T, which fits great length wise, but is still somewhat loose around his waist. Thankfully retailers are really smart and they build little cinches into the sides of the pants for sticks like Luc. This morning he came running into the kitchen in a pair of shorts that were way too loose asking me to tighten them. Here was our conversation:
Lucas: Mommy, why are these pants so big?
Me: They aren't that big, you're just skinny.
Lucas: Why? Why am I skinny?
Me: Cause God made you that way sweetie.
Lucas: (in all honesty and with a straight face) So God made daddy fat?
Me: (ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING.) Uh huh. Guess so.
Only a four year old can get away with stuff like this.
