For my scrapping buds...

Recently I decided to give digital scrapbooking a try. I have been scrapping (with real products) for a couple years now and I LOVE it. I have a closet full of paper, ribbon, accents, paint--you name it, I've got it. But I spend so much time on the computer and I have learned so much about Photoshop, that I was ready to give digi-scrapping a go. I decided to start with my beach pictures--I have SO many great pictures (almost five hundred PRINTABLE ones--that doesn't include all the ones I chucked out!) that if I tried to physically scrap them it would take me forever and cost more than my house. Tonight I made five pages, a cover, and a spine for my first digialbum in about twoish hours. I think I will get faster as I go, and I have a feeling that this whole album is going to round out at about thirty pages, but it is a start. I love the page above--the colors are fun and I particularly like that I used digital "staples" so it sorta looks like a REAL live page! Welcome to a new era!
