Okay--I had SOOOO many pictures from the beach that it has taken me forever to go through them and get them uploaded to the blog, but here are some of my absolute favorites. This was our first real vacation together as a family--we have visited our families, but since Lucas was born we have not been able to take a vacation just for ourselves and we were SOO excited about being able to head to the beach for some peace and tranquility. And Gulf Shores sure lived up to it--the weather was great (except for one rain storm Jenn and I got stuck in on the way to the mall--but what better time to shop than during a ten minute storm?), the beaches were beautiful, the local food was delicious (we hit the Original Oyster House despite the two hour wait, and discovered a new treat--Desoto's) and it all ended entirely too soon. We are already planning our Beach trip 2008--next time we will have to stay for a week. Above I've posted some of my favorite "family" shots--there were over two hundred that I took on this particular day. Below I go on to post three more times--I just had so many pictures to share--Enjoy!!

ohh...love the white shirts. wish i had thought of that one! more great pics, also...is this trip going to be it's own album?
