Sweet little strawberry

I purchased this costume before Chloe was born in hopes that she could wear it for her first halloween, which she actually spent asleep (of course, what was I thinking??) She is just now six months and the strawberry fits perfectly. I have no reason to dress her up like a precious little strawberry, though, except for a photo op. At six months she weights 16 pounds and she is 27 inches long. She is starting to be more mobile--she will wiggle her way across the room to reach a toy, or if that is too much trouble, she will roll over and over until she reaches whatever she wants. I have seen her pull up on all fours several times and I have no doubt she will be off crawling soon. We have begun solid foods and so far she is really a great eater. I have not found anything she won't try (although after four days of green beans she refused to eat them again!) and she is holding her bottle very well now. She can take her paci off the paci clip in her car seat carrier and she puts the paci in her mouth all by herself. She LOOOVES being with her brothers, being sung to, "tasting" everything she finds, and being held. She is very spunky. She does not talk too much, but when she does start babbling, she keeps it up for a good while before she quits. She also knows how to throw a diva tantrum like none I have ever seen (full on foot stomping red faced wailing with tears pouring down her face....until she gets what she wants, and then she is all smiles within seconds. It's crazy!) Her hair is still brown, but it is much lighter than at birth. People love her hair. EVERYWHERE I take her, people come up to me and comment on her hair--how pretty it is, how much she has, how long it is, how it is wild....the list is endless. I got "cute baby" comments about Lucas and Alex (all mothers get these) but I have never had SO many people comment on one of my child's features before (and that includes the period of time where random assholes would come up and comment on Alex's orthotic helmet...)
