In preparation for our friends Steele's third birthday this weekend I asked Lucas what he wanted to get for her gift. This was his response:
Lucas: (without ANY hesitation) A robot.
Me: A robot? Really? I don't know that Steele would like a robot buddy.
Lucas: (thinking for just a minute then grinning really big) But it's a PRINCESS robot mommy. She'll like a princess robot you see?
What a clever little boy. So somebody needs to tell the good folks over at Playskool to get hopping and market a Princess robot...oh and I need one by Saturday. Thanks.

that is funny, but on a serious side, why don't they? A princess dinosaur would make many a nerdy girl swoon.
And why don't they do science shirts for girls? I have to buy them in the boys section for dear peanut. Girls like science too.
AWESOME!!!! I so missed this post last night! Disco swears that her first word was robot so he will really appreciate this one.
And I am with tallgirl - it is hard to find those mixed up toys that speak to the fact that girls like science, robots, trains, dinosaurs, bugs, frogs, etc. And pink camo just doesn't cut it!
