I didn't want anyone to see our blog header and think I only love one of my children--I just had to do these "photo sessions" on separate days since Alex was napping when I got the pics of
Luc and the 2009 glasses. Alex was ready for his photo shoot this afternoon--he was in SUCH a good mood today. I had to work this morning, but this evening we enjoyed a New Year meal of black eyed peas, cornbread, cabbage, and blueberry yum yum (grandma walker's
recipe) at Scott's house.

It was a very quiet New Year's Eve. Gone are the days when we go out and party. Josh was on call, so the kiddos and I had dinner with Scott and Jenn at her families house and watched the first part of the
LSU game. Then I came home and vegged
infront of the
tv until the ball dropped at midnight. It was a bit depressing that I was watching the Clinton's kiss to kick off my New Year. Not exactly how I envisioned starting 2009...

He looks so angelic here! Happy New Year!
Wouldn't it be cute to find a halo and devil horns and do a photo session with the halo on the happy baby (first) and the devil horns on the grumpy baby (towards the end of the session when no one is happy!)???
Just a thought . . .
I really like those pictures.
so sweet! what is your backdrop?
I just use a big black piece of fabric--we spread it out on the bathroom floor and laid Alex on it (good natural light in the bathroom!) and Josh stood behind him and held the blanket up in the back so it would be black all around him. Not perfect, but hey, it works for now! Someday...a studio would be nice!
I love the banner and these photos - and it looks very good on the blog.
