New Era!!

I treated myself yesterday--I bought a new camera, the Canon Digital Rebel XTi and some fancy lenses to go with it. As Josh pointed out it is my Mother's Day, birthday, Anniversary, and many other gifts all rolled into one since it was more than a months salary (but let's face it--I don't make much anymore, so that doesn't mean much!) But it was SOOOOOO worth it. I love taking pictures and scrapbooking more than anything else. This evening I got a chance to take Lucas outside and follow him around while playing with my new toy--he is quickly learning that mommy is a camera freak and he shys away from all the pictures--so I get a lot of shots of him running away--but I think they are just as cute. I am already loving my new toy--these shots turned out beautifully and the color is fabu. I just can't wait for more excuses to take pictures!
