Mommy and Me

Just a fun pic of me and Luc. He's been so happy this week--he's really getting big now. We visit the doc for his four month check up this week and I expect her to tell us he's more than doubled his birth weight. This week he tried peas for the first time and seemed to agree with them. His new favorite thing is to grab his toys and shove them in his mouth. It's the funniest thing to watch. I'm scared that when he begins crawling he is going to gobble up everything. He is also laughing a lot this week and trying SO hard to sit up on his own--he just can't quite make it yet. But give him time. He sleeps mostly on his tummy now and still can't seem to figure out how to get out of that position, but it's cute to go in and check on him and find his little butt up in the air! So precious. We went for a walk in the park with Kristy and Steele on Friday last week and Luc cried for half of the walk because I forgot his pacifier--so no way are we letting go of that vice anytime soon (too bad for his future dental work...) Speaking of his teeth--he may be starting to teeth, too since EVERYTHING goes in his mouth and he loves to chomp on your finger. Lots of drool and a little ear pulling may all be early signs of teething...we'll cross our fingers and hope it's relativily painless (for him and us!!!) More updates to come...
