March 16th was Match Day for the graduating class of UAMS and Joshua was really excited about the festivities. The class headed to Jaunitas where food and beverages were served and the countdown began. At exactly eleven o'clock the med students were called on stage one at a time to open their envelope and find out where they would be spending the next four years. Josh was pretty pumped--he did the suicide match and only picked UAMS anesthesia. He wore the baby carrier that day and proudly showed off Lucas to his classmates and even took a slightly awed and sleepy Luc up on stage to make the announcement--Josh made his match! All his buddies matched too, including Sidney, Natalie, Will, Jeremy and of course, Lloyd (Josh and Lloyd joked about couples matching--they might as well have since they got into the same program and will be spending the next four years so happy together!!) Luc fell asleep during the ceremony--it was just too much for his system and he went into overload. But the newscasters apparently loved him--he was on Today's THV the next morning! Luc's first TV appearence and he's only four months young. Josh hopes there will be many more TV spots in Luc's future (he's still gunning for a little Tiger Woods protege!) Congrats to all the matchees!

Did you get tape of Lucas and Josh on TV??? If not you can probably contact the station and get a copy....as long as you do it soon. We would love to see it...both Lucas and the match ceremony.
Josh, I am so proud of you! I knew you would make it. And you are so cute taking that baby on stage with you. He is so cute with his little mohawk. And by the way, Rob and I will be at your graduation in May. See you then... Love, Emily
