The tale of a fudge pop...

So summer may not officially make its debute until late June, but around here it sure feels like summer. The grass is greener, the weather is more humid, I got my first sun burn, and Lucas is eating ice cream bars like crazy. My new fav is the sugar free fudge bars from Kroger--cheap, yummy and not wholly chocked full of bad for you ingredients. They do tend to melt pretty quickly...as witnessed in the photos above. Luc ate this in about five minutes, but it was still a choc-0-lotta mess by the time he was done. But he loved every minute of it! We ate tons of good food for Memorial Day weekend--uncle Scott cooked steak (chicken for me) Sunday night, and Monday afternoon we had burgers and lots of fixins over at our place on our brand new patio and table. We even whipped out the kiddie pool and Lucas took a few dips before lunch--it certainly felt like summer!
