Sandra Remedes May 5, 1958-March 8, 2008
As many of you already know, Josh's mother recently passed away after a long struggle with illness. We spent the week at home with family and friends--thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We were able to bring home many of the beautiful flowers that people sent in honor of Sandy and I plan to plant them around the house to remember her by. We will all miss her, but I feel saddest of all that Lucas and our unborn baby will not be able to know their feisty Nana. I put a few pictures of Sandy throughout her life--the first is one of my all time favorites of her with Joshua (notice the "cool cat" shirt!) Lucas looks so much like Josh at this age. Josh loves the last shot of her on the beach (the resolution is a little fuzzy here). The flowers are the roses off the casket--Sandy loved yellow roses. May she be at peace. We love you Nana.
