This was so cute I just had to post about it. Yesterday during snack time Lucas insisted that he had to eat his snack INSIDE his lego box--nowhere else would suffice. He couldn't get inside himself, but he set his juice and goldfish inside the box and begged me to help him inside--so I lifted him in just to see what he would do. He immediately picked up his goldfish and started snacking--never missing a beat, just like he was at a table. He is really at an age now where he is starting to voice his opinion and wanting to make choices. Just this morning he wanted to pick his own shoes out, and he has very vocal opinions on going outside (which he always wants to do) and what he will or will not eat (frankly he won't eat anything that isn't yellow--as in mac and cheese, cheese, or french fries).
