UPDATE

We are FINALLY getting settled into the new house so I've got time to update the blog. Lucas had a rough few weeks--he learned to crawl and broke in a couple new teeth, but now things are back to normal and he is napping again (thank goodness!) He is so active--I have trouble keeping up with him now and we will need to "babyproof" everything in the very near future. He always wants to get into whatever he shouldn't be getting into--he is most attracted to anything with cords or of the electronic variety. I can already tell his gonna be a tech head. (So far he has ruined one razor phone with drool and attemps to eat the camera on a daily basis...) In other news, we got him enrolled in day care starting July 3rd and his daddy starts his job in just over a week now. I think Josh is pretty bummed about it. Lucas sure will miss him! We attended a co-workers wedding this past weekend and Lucas got his first taste of crackers and wedding cake. He loves to eat "wagon wheels" which are basically like big honey combs for babies (minus all the sugar) and is eating just about anything we give him--which is surprising considering what a picky eater his momma is! We bought a couple new books this week and he has already chewed the corners of them off. Some nights he really enjoys his stories, but most nights he just wants to go straight to bed after his bath.
