Bags O Fun

No need for toys--Lucas can have fun with nothing but a paper bag (seen here in the background). Seriously, Christmas should be a blast--he loves to investigate and rip into anything and everything. He is crawling better every day and soon I expect him to be zooming all over the house. Meanwhile, my stress level has gone up (can't imagine why??!!) He is all boy too--rough and gooey and covered in dirt after a few hours of play. We keep the floor clean--but with six animals there always seems to be something to get into and if there is one speck of dirt, Lucas will find it!
I am beginning a five day off sprint, so we are going to try to get some work done around the house and enjoy our last bit of family time before Joshua starts the big job. He is orientating today and tomorrow and meets with his resident, so we'll know pretty soon what the next few weeks are going to be like! Meanwhile, I am prepping myself for daycare, which we start on Monday. Just a trial run that first day--I probably won't even leave him for more than a few hours, but still...it's gonna be hard!
