What's up doc?

May 20th at around 4:30 pm it was offical--Josh became a doctor! All of the family came in to witness the big event--including Emily and Rob, Sandy, Anthony, Jessie, Paige, Laney, AJ, Tara, Velma and Robert, Aunt Mary, Doris, Ken, Scott and Jen. Governor Mike Huckabee gave the commencement address (which DID go over ten minutes--shame on him!) and over eight hundred students graduated from the university in different fields that afternoon. The med students went last, so it was quite a wait to see Josh walk--but it was worth it. When asked if he felt like a doctor Josh just smiled (I think he's actually nervous about the whole thing!) After the ceremony we headed back to our house for a family bash--BBQ chicken a la Ken, twice baked potatoes curtesy of Scott, corn, pea and cheese casserole, baked beans and a gift cake from Aunt Mary and mom. Oh and of course lots of alcohol. I wish I had gotten a picture of all the doctors that were present--Kristy B and Mark were in attendence and I missed getting shots of them with Josh, but I did manage to catch Lloyd and Josh together--which was appropriate since they spent the last four years bonded at the hip. (And I imagine the next four won't be all that different...) Congrats to all the new docs!
