Lucas is sitting so well now on his own. This morning he joined me in the office while I caught up on me e-mail and he had a blast just sitting and playing with his toys on the floor. Of course, when he does lose his balance and fall over he is VERY unhappy and immediately starts kicking and screaming until you set him up again. Hopefully he'll learn to sit up by himself soon. Meanwhile, Josh and I are getting geared up for his graduation--hard to believe it is just two weeks away. Scott and I hammered out the menu for the after party (I think??) and don't worry--It won't be me cooking everything. I'll leave that to the experts!

Hey is he sitting by himself? I need to know my rat will not do it yet. I did chop off part of her thumb with the nail clippers though. Major tragedy.
Yeah, he is doing pretty well with sitting himself. Yesterday he sat and played on his mat for 45minutes without falling. It may have been the practice in the Bumbo that helped strengthen his back. Did you make her finger bleed?
Listen it was tramatic. I thought we were going to have to get stiches. She bled everywhere and screamed for at least an hour. I had to give her tylnol for the pain to get her to calm down. Had to go and get liquid bandage to fix the problem. She now looks at her thumb and starts to cry. She's a drama queen already.
