Just an update for everyone on life with Lucas! We had to go to the doctor today (he had a slight rash around his eye and we just wanted to be sure it wasn't anything major--the Doc said it was just allergies) and we found out our little "chunky monkey" as Josh calls him weights over seventeen pounds! Yikes! He is eating really well--most days he eats at least one meal of baby food (one whole container). Bananas, apples and pears are still his favs but he will tolerate the veggies as long as he gets some sweet stuff every other bite! We think he might be close to sitting up on his own--he is sure trying. All this week Josh has been making dinner (go Mr. Mom!) and we have actually sat at the table as a family and eaten dinner together (although Luc spends most of his meal chewing and banging on my tupperware.) Meanwhile--Lucas still loves his baths. I got out the camera tonight to capture his splashing fun on film and as soon as I started clicking away he became more interested in the camera than his bath--he actually tried to push to a stand in his tub and grab at the camera. We couldn't stop laughing!

Just to let you know that Raeden weighed 17 pounds at our last check up a month ago. So I had jaba the hut.
I think that Lucas is yellow rubber duckie deprived!!!! He seems very happy with all those critters sharing his bath though! Very cute pictures. Love you Lucas.
