Likes and Dislikes

Lucas officially turned twenty one months today--sometimes it's hard to believe he is already almost two years old. Other times it seems like he is growing up so fast. Lately he is really expressing his desires and becoming such a fiercly independant little dude. He loves reading books and anything to do with animals. The Lion King has quickly become his favorite movie (although its really the ONLY movie he has seen...over and over and over...stab me please!) and he loves trips to the "ewwww" (known by most people as the "zoo"). He requests to see Go Diego Go daily and he now chants along with the songs and answers Diego's questions. He also recently started singing "ring around the rosy"--he must have picked this up at daycare cause Josh and I don't make a habit of humming that tune. He wants you to form a ring and fall down with him repeatedly and it cracks me up because he sings the "ashes" part as "asses, asses!" Ahhh...so funny!
Course, he is equally good at telling you (quite loudly) what he doesn't like. He still isn't eating veggies--he just tosses them on the floor despite our pleading and begging him to try them--but we are smarter than the average bear--Josh found juice called Juicy Juice Harvest Juice that is mostly VEGETABLE juice. Luc has no clue--he loves it, so at least we know he is getting his daily serving of veggies. Lately he seems to have developed an aversion to the dogs, too--he tells them "no go!" if they get too close to him. He has his moments of pure tantrum, but for the most part he is a sweetie. He gives kisses and hugs pretty freely now--So the grandparents need to hurry up and come visit again while he is in this sweet stage!

I got the juice and Raeden will not drink it. She will only drink milk or water. Nothing else will do. I got the red kind so it made a huge mess all over the couch with the spitting back out that she pulled. They both are getting so big so quickly I wonder where the time goes. Oh I know WORK.
